Inc. today ranked Amadeus Consulting, a custom software development company, No. 1,277 on its annual ranking of the 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the country. This is an impressive climb of 233 spots from last year's ranking at 1,510.The list is the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy - America's independent-minded entrepreneurs. This is the fourth consecutive year Amadeus has been ranked on the Inc. list.

The 2009 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2008, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2005, and $2 million in 2008.
