ColoradoBiz magazine today released its annual Top 250 Private Companies in Colorado, and Boulder-based custom software development company Amadeus Consulting has jumped 46 spots, from last year's ranking at #197 to this year at #171. This is the second year that the company has been ranked on the list, notable considering that about half of the companies who made the list in 2009 dropped off in 2010.
Amadeus Consulting experienced a 26% growth in terms of resources, and is among good company on the list: CH2M Hill took the top spot, along with Sports Authority, Hensel Phelps, American Furniture Warehouse and Ralph Schomp who were among the top ten. It is highly ranked in the custom software development sector as well, being among the top three.
The custom software team at Amadeus Consulting strives to be a local leader as a custom application development company. It provides services locally and nationally, but as Lisa Calkins, CEO of Amadeus Consulting says, "It's really a thrill for us to make an impression locally, because we have the ability to see the impact our services have to our clients in Colorado."
The company offers extensive end-to-end software application development services: from large-scale database design, to multiple platform mobile application development, search visibility and conversion optimization solutions and everything in between.
The annual list is based on revenues for the years of 2008 and 2009. To make the list, companies were required to report at least $2.2 million dollars in revenue. In all, hundreds of companies applied for the distinction.
