The application, built and powered by Amadeus Consulting, is designed to emulate a real speed bag, with 3D motion, fast paced levels and a scoring system that ranks both the speed and accuracy.

To be on the Staff Pick section of the Apple App Store, an application must have been approved by the store itself and have caught their attention in a pool of over 140,000 third party applications. Speed Bag: Urban Gym has a customer rating of 4.5 stars, so it is grabbing the attention of staff and customers alike. Here is what some users had to say about the app:

Marc Polett, an avid boxer and founder of Manayunk Productions, wanted to break into the iPhone application market with a speed bag simulator.
