Amadeus Consulting announced today that it has been nominated for the 2010 Colorado Companies to Watch Award, presented by M3 Insurance and hosted by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade. The winner will be announced at a gala awards ceremony on June 18, 2010 and will be featured in the Colorado Biz Magazine.
The 2010 Colorado Companies to Watch Award acknowledges second-stage companies that are developing valuable products and services, creating quality jobs, enriching communities, and creating new industries throughout the state. Second-stage companies are past the start-up stage but not yet past maturity.
Amadeus Consulting was nominated by Susan Graf, President of the Boulder Chamber of Commerce because the chamber felt Amadeus Consulting was a great example of the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of Boulder. Amadeus Consulting's business strategy follows its philosophy that "Everything is Possible" which helps the company maintain an entrepreneurial feel by taking on projects no one believes can be done. This past year, Amadeus Consulting was on the cutting edge of technological innovation, creating solutions for companies using the most current technology platforms available such as iPhoneTM, AndroidTM, and Microsoft SurfaceTM.
The 2010 Colorado Companies to Watch Award recognizes second-stage companies because it believes these companies fuel the economic fire of Colorado. Second-stage companies account for a good portion of the economic growth and economic independence of individuals throughout the state. "The program focuses not only on traditional measures of success but on such metrics as the impact companies have on their communities and how they have embraced technology," said Penny Lewandowski, Director of Entrepreneurship Development for the Edward Lowe Foundation, who developed the Companies to Watch program.
