Amadeus Consulting, a custom software and online marketing solutions company, announces its participation in the Colorado Business Marketing Association's (BMA) 3rd annual Junior Achievement In-A-Day program. The program lines up business professionals to teach work readiness, financial literacy and entrepreneurship to school aged kids (K-12). The program is being held on Monday, October 25th at Place Bridge Academy and BMA Colorado is sponsoring 14 volunteers to teach 7 classrooms.
Monica Valdez, Amadeus Consulting's Search Visibility Manager, will be participating and teaching Junior Achievement's Our Nation program to a 5th grade class. The Our Nation program focuses on providing students with information on high demand jobs and skills sets (engineering, math, science and technology) needed to be successful in the job market. The program also focuses on globalization and entrepreneurial thinking. According to Junior Achievement's website, "students who get Our Nation today will be better equipped for tomorrow to meet the requirements of businesses worldwide."
Amadeus Consulting is excited to be part of this program that teaches children about the importance of business skills at a young age. The knowledge that the kids will learn will not only give them tools to use now but will help them decide what career path to go down. "I am happy to represent Amadeus Consulting and BMA in this outreach effort and to be involved in a program that directly contributes to preparing youth for future success in business", said Monica Valdez, Search Visibility Manager. Monica has been a member of the Colorado BMA since 2006 and is in charge of the Search Visibility and Conversion Optimization service line for Amadeus Consulting and its clients.
