Healthcare - Biotechnology

The healthcare sector is ever increasing its use of biotechnology in health sciences research, pharmaceuticals and medicine. The use of biotechnology is widely used in health sciences research to assist companies making advancements in the medical field as a whole. The future of medicine lies within the technologies that can  perfect it, lowering costs of healthcare worldwide and making pharmaceuticals more available to more people.

Amadeus Consulting understands the importance of healthcare biotechnology, and we have an extensive amount of experience partnering with customers operating in the biotechnology industry. We have created solutions for global corporations like Hematech, Inc. (a subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kirin Company, Ltd.). Hematech's research programs are best known for its success in creating genetically engineered cows to produce human antibodies for use in human pharmaceuticals. Amadeus Consulting assisted Hematech in upgrading and revamping an application for tracking and reporting the daily activities and lifecycle of a genetically engineered cow. Read more about the successful custom software solution we built for Hematech, Inc.

Hematech, Inc. was founded in 1998 and parent company Kyowa Hakko Kirin Company, Ltd. purchased Hematech in 2005. Hematech came to Amadeus Consulting for assistance with its Animal Information Management System (AIMS). Hematech needed numerous enhancements and problems resolved with their existing software application developed by another company. Now that Amadeus Consulting has completed the full rewrite of the reporting software and a revamp of the rest of the application the system can be more easily maintained and enhanced.
