Amadeus Consulting, a custom software development company, is proud to announce that Healthful Apps, the brainchild of entrepreneur Dan Cohen, has been accepted to the Apple® App Store. Healthful Apps is a unique iPhone™ app that identifies the best health-related apps from the App Store for patients suffering from Alzheimer's, autism, dialysis, and five other healthcare categories.
Healthful Apps joins other Amadeus Consulting iPhoneTM applications Interval Tutor, Speedbag, and Happy State Bank to name just a few accepted into the App Store.
The development of iPhone applications can be difficult, and the submission to the App Store can be as well. Because Amadeus Consulting developers are technology experts from project start to finish, they assisted Apps for All in the tricky process of getting their iPhone app approved the first time it was submitted.
The development process includes heavy upfront Quality Assurance testing, and an application for review and approval from Apple's App Review Team, who demo each application before acceptance. As a result of the different features, technologies and capabilities of iPhone applications, the review and approval time varies for each app. Amadeus Consulting thouroughly tested Healthful Apps, which dramatically shortened the typical approval time. Dan Cohen said, "Amadeus Consulting was great at managing the technological as well as the business side of the project, while tackling and integrating in a difficult development environment."
Though there are over 100,000 apps on the Apple Store, Healthful Apps is one of the few "recommendation engine" applications solely focused on health-related apps to speed up the process of identifying the best apps in one of eight health categories.
