Prior to contacting Amadeus Consulting, Hickey & Associates managed all incentives using various updates of Excel spreadsheets. However, due to the increasing demand for incentive compliance tracking, extra auditing and scrutiny by government agencies, the sophisticated administrative work necessitated a more powerful, customized piece of software and management system. Furthermore, the original system would not be scalable; a major drawback for a growing company.

To tackle these issues, Amadeus Consulting created a user-friendly, Web-based system to track incentives. Referred to as the Public Incentive Management System (PIMS), the system allows multiple companies and users to manage incentives at the same time, while still keeping data secure. The automated system tracks dates and milestones related to each incentive, and informs users when action is required. Advanced algorithms written within the code help determine ROI, and charts, graphs, and reports can all be generated in real-time. Additionally, an internal calculation engine allows users to create customizable incentive calculations, and geo-coding allows for mapping and plotting of nationwide incentives. With an easy-to-use interface, users can not only import and export data using Excel, but also have the capability to export to a .pdf file for portability.
