As technology practice consultants for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture),
Amadeus’s three founding partners all received extensive training in formal software development
methodology, which has evolved into a highly effective process adapted to meet the special needs
of challenging entrepreneurial projects. Those stringent standards for requirements analysis
and documentation have been boiled down to an appropriate level of documentation for each project
focused on complicated concepts that need to be accurately communicated to the development team.

Solid architecture is the key to the success, stability and scalability of any software project.
Our approach is to establish common architecture across system components for a cohesive, unified system.
When developing individual components, we apply those concepts at the right level of detail given the
complexity of each component. Clear responsibilities are assigned to each developer.
A comprehensive testing plan is established at the outset and testing is ongoing during development.
Component-level and system-level integration testing are done as components are completed.
On larger projects, we automate many testing procedures.
