Search Visibility | Search Engine Marketing Analyst

Job Description

As part of the search visibility team, the Search Engine Marketing Analyst directly contributes to the design and implementation of a variety of results-focused online marketing solutions both internally and for our clients. This position will include activities such as budget analysis, campaign optimization and analysis, and client-facing duties such as ongoing account management and reporting. The SEO / SEM Marketing Analyst position has been recently redefined to best complement our current marketing team. The successful candidate will be energized and motivated to work directly with the Director of Marketing to best shape and leverage internet marketing strategies and processes as well as communicate and implement the plan with the search engine marketing coordination team. This position will be report to the Director of Marketing.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of progressive web experience in SEO, PPC, Social Media, Conversion Optimization and/or other online marketing channels
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or another related field
• Thorough knowledge of industry standards, best practices, search engine algorithms, search engine marketing strategies and optimization techniques
• Excellent writing, grammar, and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, team environment
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to succeed in a less structured environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, Internet Explorer and Firefox, and website analytics tools such as Google Analytics

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in search engine marketing consultancy or agency
• Knowledge of marketing tactics on popular social networking platforms
• Self-directed, able to work effectively without constant supervision
• Basic or working knowledge of website languages a plus
