PROMPTTTM is a robust field-asset execution tool incorporating RFID (radio frequency identification) technology, mobile hand-held terminals, satellite communications and a Web-based interface to ensure compliance to corporate control and procedures. PROMPTTTM delivers real-time visibility into asset and personnel operations and performance related information.
PROMPTTTM acts as a virtual instruction manual, guiding users through procedures on exactly what to do, when to do it, how to do it and the ability to capture vital data and progress. The system saves oil and gas companies tens of thousands of dollars due to reduced operational costs and increased rig and equipment utilization.
Amadeus Consulting wrote intuitive, user-friendly code on the PROMPTT®TM wireless hand-held terminal and back-end Web application. The user-interface was designed to be easy-to-read and the built-in instruction manual was programmed to guide users through each activity step-by-step and offer real-time updates on asset and personnel performance.
The result is a system that has become a valuable tool for the oil and gas industry while TrigPoint continues to expand its business. Version 1.0 of the technology was deployed in July 2007, with a revised version deployed in July 2008.
