The client desired a new version of its consulting data analysis tool. It used its data analysis tool for several years providing custom consulting analysis data for its clients. The system was originally created in an Excel spreadsheet. Like many companies, the company grew and expanded and began to outgrow its Excel data tool. So the company contracted a developer to create a Web application similar to the original Excel spreadsheet. As the tool was created and evolved, the tool ultimately did not offer the original use and value. As time passed, the company realized its Web application version of the Excel data tool had outgrown its original intentions.
The client came to Amadeus Consulting seeking a rebuilt application that would improve current business and expand future business.
