Wall Street Images was created by Nicholas C. Mansour, a portfolio manager who wanted to demonstrate his competitive advantage over other investment managers while managing pension funds for the City of Chicago. As a passionate portfolio manager, Nick wanted to give clients and companies instant access to financial information in a meaningful, mobile and different way. He worked with graphic artists to develop a map paradigm of stock market sectors, industries and companies to visualize who the dominant players of a Wall Street industry were.
Wall Street Images created Maptool X, an iPhoneTM and iPadTM application that provides a visual and interactive map of Wall Street industries, which lets users compare companies within each market sector in order to make more informed investment decisions. Maptool X creates images reminiscent of old-world map styles, which helps users visually identify the dominant players in any Wall Street industry, as well as quickly extract detailed information about each company's financial metrics, ratings, news and stock quotes. Designed for investors, teachers, and students, Maptool X gives users access to stock market research in an unparalleled format.
As an experienced business professional, Nick and Wall Street Images knew that the company needed a specific marketing plan for the launch of Maptool X, and approached Amadeus Consulting to handle its mobile app promotion and product roadmap. Wall Street Images was immediately a good fit with Amadeus Consulting because of our history in mobile application development, our internal search visibility experience and overall creative marketing knowledge.
Using our Search Visibility and Marketing team's vast mobile application knowledge, the team created an extensive product road map for Wall Street Images. The marketing plan included a strategy on how to target specific audiences and how to build messaging for each of the targeted audiences and channels. Additionally, it gave Wall Street Images a social media strategy designed to leverage blogs and press releases.
The mobile application promotion package included key word and search engine optimized blogs and press releases, content to be used online and in the Apple® App Store, and an E-media kit with several types of content tailored to outreach to a specific list of over 100 industry and iPhone app review sites. The targeted portion of the application promotion package includes tailored outreach to top sites within the financial industry.
The Search Visibility team also created a social media research, recommendation and implementation plan on how to leverage social media to benefit, build awareness around and generate interest in Maptool X.
Wall Street Images has been extremely pleased with the entire mobile app promotion process, has seen an increase in awareness, downloads and has even garnered interest from several top financial industry websites.
