Web Graphic Designer Position Available

Amadeus Consulting, Boulder, Colorado's premier technology solutions firm, is currently seeking a Web Graphic Designer with at least three to six years of progressively responsible UI/UX/graphics/Web design and client communication experience for a fulltime position in Boulder. Candidate will have attention to detail, capacity to plan, ability to execute, and a commitment to quality as well as strong client communication skills.

Key Function Summary:  Overall responsibility for working on a variety of projects primarily involved in website design and development, including creation of custom graphics. Responsible for designing the user interface and overall user experience for Amadeus Consulting as well as client websites and applications. This includes overall navigation flow, layout of specific pages, and creation of individual graphic elements.

Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in either a related technical or fine arts field as well as knowledge and expertise typically acquired in 3-6 years progressively responsible experience in UX/UI/graphics/Web design roles are required. 

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for design maintenance of all websites and other electronic publications and applications
• Creates illustrative materials or deals with preparation of illustrative materials from artists and vendors
• Ensures that all design elements, templates and finished solutions work within a variety of browser types and screen settings along with the constraints set by development and design
• Works with marketing and development staff on style and approach for all projects
• Provides design elements, comps, templates, and finished solutions
• Participates in efforts to improve quality of websites and other electronic publications as required
• Coordinate with internal and external groups to determine and progress in achieving goal and requirements of UX/UI and website
• Mentor Developers to grow team capability in UX/UI and Web design skills

• Desirable but not required software experience and knowledge includes Director, Camtasia, Fireworks, Soundforge, Freehand, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, Javascript and Shockwave
