Windows Mobile Devices
Windows Phone 7 Series: This platform gives Windows Phones users a new approach to mobile software that sets it apart by addressing smart design and integrated experiences from the Web and applications.
Pocket PC: Microsoft's original Mobile operating system for PDAs, GPS devices, RFID readers and cameras. It was complicated by the fact that some Pocket PC devices did include phone features. With the introduction of Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft changed the name to Windows Mobile Classic for Pocket PC devices without an integrated phone.
SmartPhone: Microsoft's mobile platform that includes advanced features such as touch screens, data plans and rich applications.
Windows CE: Also known officially as Windows Embedded Compact post version 6.0, and sometimes abbreviated WinCE this is Microsoft's OS for minimalistic computers and embedded systems.
Amadeus Consulting has developed many applications for mobile use. Some of our more robust applications include a major transportation company's Fleet Data Collection System, TrigPoint's PROMPTT Wireless Management and Pentagon Technologies QIII+ Clean Room Particle Detection System. For each of these clients, we were able to create a specialty solution to address specific tangible business needs and goals into a measurable success.
As things move progressively out of the traditional desktop environment and into the hands of mobile users, Amadeus Consulting looks forward to developing more customized mobile solutions.
